FCDS IDEA Password Reset Emails

FCDS has received multiple reports from users who didn’t get their password reset emails.

In many cases, this seems to be related to facility email systems that block or filter messages from outside sources.

  • Call Melissa Williams (305–243–2641) or Mark Rudolph (305–243–2626) to use the security question/answer method. This lets you temporarily reset your password so you can log in. After that, go to FCDS IDEA > IDEA User > Account Manager to update it.

  • Change the email address in your FCDS IDEA account to a personal or alternate email that’s less likely to block incoming messages. You can use any email you want in the system.

If your facility uses filtering or security rules that may be affecting email delivery (for example, @hcahealthcare.com or @Parallon.com), we recommend using a different email to ensure reliable communication with FCDS IDEA.
